Faces

I’ve always thought portraits are a way of showing people as how they really are. I myself always try to show confidence and security when I’m around people but can only keep it on before the pretense falls apart into my real feelings of insecurity. I decided to depict that in this drawing, as you can see the assured half slowly crumbling away into the unconfident half. I tried to experiment a little in this piece and branch off my style a little. It was also quite the challenge to make a pen only drawing, but I'm getting more used to them now.
